YOUNGSTOWN — Christian Revival and Discipleship Center, 3300 Hudson Ave., announced the cancelation of a youth march originally planned for Saturday along Fifth Avenue to a downtown site. No reason was given for the cancellation.
Kenneth W. Paramore, pastor, said questions about donations made for the marchmay be directed to the church office at (330) 788-7530 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays.

If that march never goes on then the donations should be taxed as income to the center.
Straight economics man.
Why would someone donate to an organization that apparently can't organize a walk down a city street? I mean, its not exactly an organizational feat to get some people together to walk down a street as a group...
Also, if you expect people to donate why wouldn't you at least explain why the event was canceled? How valid the reason should help determine whether people open their wallets for you, especially considering the high cost of gasoline, bullets, St. Ide's and Joker papers these days.
I am not a member but I can tell you that CRDC are VERY organized people. If the march was canceled, it was for good reason. It may have had something to do with the Italian festival going on downtown. Who knows?
~ at least make the REASON known to the public OF WHY IT WAS CANCELED!!~~
I bet not one of you bothered to call the number before passing judgement.
Some of the things that are being said here truly sicken me. All of these people are passing judgment on a man that I know has one of the BEST reputations in the faith based community. (And believe me we know about the less than reputable "clergy" in our ranks) Pastor Paramore is a GOOD man, and a Godly man. Because the reason wasn't given to the high and mighty vindicator, that means he is a crook? Who knows why the Vindicator doesn't know why it was canceled. I can make a phone call right now and find out for myself, but to be honest, I would rather watch the vocal, cynical, pessimistic minority try to figure it out for themselves.
As I said before, these are very very organized people, who only do God's work, and usually take financial hits left and right to do so. I can tell you that he is an anointed man of God, and I can tell you that is congregation are spirit-filled, but instead I will just say shame on you for passing uninformed judgment. Especially when your only insight into the situation is a 3 sentence article.
Wow.
Interesting, two defenders but no explanations. I have yet to draw any conclusions, with the exception of ‘that those who claim to have knowledge of the leadership and the activity decline to provide specifics’. Did I once hear a quote to the effect of ‘me thinks they do protest too much’?
