WORTH A LOOK | Area activities are open to the public

CRAFT SHOWS/FLEA MARKETS

• Patchwork Co-op, North Star Training Center, is having its pre-Fourth of July handmade crafts sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at Friends House Chapel, 192 Hazeltine Ave., Youngstown. Among the items for sale will be wall hangings, dolls, wreaths, pillows, tote bags, oven mitts and half-price fabric.

SALES

• St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, is sponsoring a Junk in the Trunk Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 19 at the Four Seasons Flea Market on McCartney Road. Those interested in participating can rent a spot for $15, or they can donate unwanted items to the church’s tent if they choose not to sell them. There will also be a food tent. To reserve a spot, call the rectory at (330) 755-0266.

• A calendar of activities to which the public is invited is published Monday. Please submit information to the Society Department by 5 p.m. Thursday.
