Fire damages home on the West Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Fire caused an estimated $22,000 damage to a house at 107 Steel Street.

The fire was reported about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the 2 1/2-story wood frame home and firefighters found strong flames upon arrival.

Neighbors reported that the house was vacant. No injuries were reported and the blaze remains under investigation.
