JEANNETTE, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has died after he was pinned beneath a mobile home he was trying to move from a small trailer park.
Westmoreland County Deputy Coroner Dennis Johns says 48-year-old James Skovira, of Acme, was trapped about 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Skovira was found under the mobile home by his son, who became concerned when his father didn’t return text messages.
The deputy coroner says Skovira was attaching wheels to the underside of the trailer when a jack slipped, pinning him beneath the home. Skovira asphyxiated because he wasn’t able to breathe while trapped under the mobile home.
The mobile home park is about 25 miles east of Pittsburgh.
