Second, you never addressed the murders in recent years. Just because the person didn't live in the complex doesn't mean that the crime didn't occur there. You are judged by the people you associate with, and two residents of that complex had murderers come to their homes. Why don't you do a search of how many times the police are called to the apartments, might be a slightly different outcome huh?
My "buddy" Tim was living with the mother who is a resident. She brought him in, one of those lawfully sound people you tried to represent in your post. Don't make it seem like he crept into her house without her knowledge. She let him in. As do other people who live there, they let everyone in.

No one said all the residents, but there are many people that have no problem breaking the law in that complex. Parents that aren't home or just don't care what their kids are doing, drugs, a couple of murders in recent years, would you like me to go on with the amount of crap that happens in that complex?

This mother was gullible and naive. Is that a crime? Not sure, but I am sure she is living in her own personal hell right now knowing that had she only questioned things a little more she could have prevented this.
As for Compass West, that place is a hole. People who live there know that there is drugs and dealing happening all over. There have been so many bad things that happens over there, you can't hide the facts. Most stereotypes are based in fact.
