It should be noted that the triple digit interest charged is an APR whereas these loans are to be repaid in a few weeks. So, that is somewhat misleading. In any event, buyer beware. They do not call it loan sharking for nothing.
I am not sure how anybody can say that unions have no place in the work force today. There are certainly issues with them in some instances, but on the whole corporations would be working people 80 hours week for $5/hour if they were able to. Capitalism, in all its worthiness, is still a synonym for greed on some level.

All I did was question the vindicator's publishing standards, question the author's writing skills and propose a very logical idea to solve our energy problems. In addition, if an adult cannot communicate at a 3rd grade level and they are perfectly fine ie. no mental issues or other disabilities, I propose we develop ways to turn them into fuel to combat the US dependence on foreign oil.

If anybody thinks V&M will put 970 million into this project any time soon should realize how much 970 million dollars is. They also stated that the initial job infusion will be between 40-60, not hundreds. It will be a long time before either the 970 million or hundreds of jobs are cretaed. This is not a major metropolis. It's Youngstown/Girard. Hopefully everything works out as the area can really use any type of economic thrust right now.
I agree, I was not condemneing a GED or high school diploma. Surely many people have achieved with them. I just don't find it necessary to publish a letter below those standards.
