Most Boardman citizens haven't a clue who to vote for. This last election was a rejection of the status quo more than a vote FOR anyone.

Costello says CALEA was important during his talk on WFMJ the night of the election. Shows how out of touch he is to reality.

Waste another $200,000 on CALEA! What a dummy.

Cabin, Nearly all voters including you haven't a clue as to how their candidate will perform. All I know is that in order to get elected it takes money and that almost always means you are beholden to those who finance your campaign. Miller admitted Loree was a mistake and that she'd not vote to hire him again. If you expect to agree with any candidate 100% of the time, you are naive. So is Costello the right man for the job? Evidently the voters thought not previously. Same goes for Calhoun. He was rejected before too.

As for the cabal, all you need do is follow the money. Look at the campaign reports and see who the major contributors are. Costello and Calhoun were supported by the cabal. So was Moliterno last time. Gary Rosati had little support and therefore had no chance. He was probably a better choice but what could he do without the financial support to run an effective campaign?

Now we have 3 cabal financed trustees. Nobody to blame anymore for failure. Who will Darnell write about and trash now?

The state will be taking over in 2010 so it won't really matter that the trustees all get along now.

Speaking of which, what's the big deal about trustees getting along? Why shouldn't there be argument and disagreement? Should we all just be like lemmings?

There will be civility now but that ain't gonna make one bit of difference. No levies are going to pass and revenues aren't likely going up to keep pace with the ever increasing labor costs that are built into the cushy contracts.

Fiscal emergency here we come!

Cabin Fever has to be anonymous because he/she hasn't the testicles to actually post that without cover.

McDonalds? Hardly. I was one of the IT experts for the Phar Mor financial group and the lead IT person for the first bankruptcy working with the bankruptcy coordinator. Plus, I started in college in Accounting.

Again with the stupid Darnell claim as if that's the only reason I don't run for trustee. It isn't. It takes money to run and win and I'm not willing to suck up to the cabal for the pleasure of serving idiots like you.

I don't need the aggravation. But, I'm highly successful and would make an excellent trustee. I wouldn't even take the money or benefits since I don't need them.

The real losers are the taxpayers in Boardman. We get cabal trustees whose only purpose is to serve the master.

Good luck when the state takes over!

Loaded yes. Of course it's the taxpayers. We'll be working until we croak to support the public sector workers retiring at 50. Either that or the public sector wages and benefits are going to change dramatically. Which do you think will happen?

Oh Tugboat, the largess you received from the taxpayers is indeed immoral. You've sucked from the public trough from people who can only wish they had the wages and benefits that you and your union brethren got. So much so that Boardman is now bankrupt or soon will be. If you want to see how greedy these people were look here:

http://www.boardmanfacts.com/Links.php

Check out those salaries taxpayers. Then top it off with retiring at 50 with full or nearly full health care and pensions. Not to mention those going away payments for accumulated sick and vacation time that even Tug said is SPIKED to the $100,000 level. Guess who is going to be paying for the 30-40 years of retirement?

Yes, Tug, people in wheel chairs are considered pedestrians! At least they can now get around Boardman!

Very simple Tug, the taxpayers are tapped out. Many are losing their jobs. Others are providing givebacks in the form of wage reductions, increased health care contributions, and lessened 401K contributions if they have any at all. For some reason, the public sector had this goofy idea that the economy didn't effect them. This is the new reality and like I've been saying all along, it effects the public sector too. Get used to it, this is just the beginning!

Wow, what brilliance Tug. I not only was one of the IT contacts for Phar Mor's accountants in GL, FA, and AR, I also have accounting experience in college! How much accounting and audit experience do you have?

Plus I got to see first hand how Phar Mor's executives and auditors signed off on voodoo accounting and how it brought down Phar Mor.

Stick to police work, cabal member.

Tug, stick to police work or retirement, accounting and audits aren't your strong suit.

Sorry, cabal member Tugboat, Phar Mor was also being audited by a big 6 accounting firm and we saw how that turned out. More of the 2+2=5 from Tugboat as if being part of a group means something. Heck, even the firemen wanted an independent audit because they didn't trust Leicht either. Funny, how winning changes your perspective doesn't it Tug?

What does Nunziato's 100,000 buyout from Mill Creek have to do with his resignation at Easter Seals over the inept accounting? Only in the simple minds of former and current township employees can 2 plus 2 equal 5.
