I agree there's a lot of good black fathers out there. Then you got the ones that are considered to be DEADBEAT DADS, they like to go around and claim the kids and show their pictures off but in all reality they don't call the kids and see how they're doing, see if they're hungry, see what they got on they're report cards, etc. Me personally I don't think it's all about the money because if you're a good parent, you're going to do the best you can anyway and if the child knows that, there may be sometimes when they want something and you tell them no, they can't get it or you just don't have it and they still will know that you are a good parent. As parents we need to show are kids that they are loved and give them the things that they need instead of trying to give them everything they want to keep them quiet. These deadbeat dads can start by calling their kids everyday to tell them that they love them and spending some quality time with them. And most of them have children by different women and these kids live close by each other and don't even know their siblings.
It's such a shame that someone would do something like that to a innocent baby. I mean what could that child have done that bad, that he had to get beat to death. My heart goes out to the babies family and everyone else who knew and loved that child. Hearing stuff like that makes me sad and bring tears to my eyes. How could somebody be that cruel?
I feel bad for his family. I watched the news last week and his mom and sister was crying saying it wasn't like him to not call them or show up. His mom suspected that he was probably dead but my heart goes out to his family and friends. Now they have closure but noone deserves to lose their life like this and no family deserves to go through this pain.
