This is a wonderful story to report on as my grandfather is a Korean war Veteran from Cincinnati. I am so happy these veterans and the Mahoning County people are not forgetting their brothers in arms.
Recently I joined the group www.vetfriends.com which boasts over 869,000 veteran members of the military. There they have many services including a reunion service and veterans business directory but they also created an online casualty memorial for those, like the soldiers who fought valiantly in Korea, who paid the ultimate price in protecting our freedom. I urge anyone out there who wants to memorialize a loved one or friend to set up a profile/memorial page for them where you can post photos, insignias and awards. This is a wonderful story! The bond made between brothers in arms is probably one of the strongest there is. This makes me extremely happy to hear as I work for a website that specializes in military veteran reunions.
