Marc Dann has to go, NOW. He can't possibly be allowed to keep his position as the highest law enforcement officer in the state after he treated it, along with his crew of imbeciles, as a gentlemens club. How effective could he possibly be if allowed continue as AG? Resign now Mr Dann if you have any decency left.

I always wondered what became of the Delta fraternity when they were kicked out of college after being on double secret probation. Now we know.

The Chief's comment of “My mom was 89 and also died of dementia" was totally out of line. The woman may have suffered from dementia but if she hadn't been locked out of her house and cut herself trying to get back in when her calls for help were unanswered, she wouldn't have suffered from blood loss and hypothermia, and would probably be alive today. The chief should appologize to the family for his foolish comment.

I'm sure that there will be a special place in hell for oil executives.

This is certainly a horrible tragedy and we probably will never know if it could have been avoided. The police have said that they did not have an address as for the reason that they did not get out of their patrol cars that night. The address of the person who called 911 not one but two times after hearing someone calling out for help was certainly available to the officer or officers who responded but did not feel the need to exit their vehicle to further investigate. At the very least the officer or officers involved should be retrained. I thought their motto was" To serve and protect" there was not much of that on that tragic night. The family of this woman deserves some answers. I can remember about 12 to 15 years ago when the Liberty PD chased a UFO around the county for hours, the audio recordings are available on the internet, but they didn't seem to feel that two calls about a possible person in distress merited the same attention.

Marc Dann got elected as the candidate that was against "pay to play" politcs. But, as we have recently found out that he and his gang of idiots that he took to Columbus with him, were the ones that were playing while WE were paying. But hey , he had that all important D after his name folks. You get what you deserve, you sheep.

Typical valley politics, vote only for the candidates with that all important "D" after their name and you get what you deserve. You sheep will never learn. With all the problems that have faced the valley over several decades now and you continue to elect the same politicians election after election. The Democrats have controlled local politics for way over 50 years now. You would think that people would finally have had enough. Wake up!
