Keep China out of US schools, two US reps for the Valley propose
U.S. Reps. Dave Joyce and Michael Rulli, who represent the Mahoning Valley, introduced a bill in the House to prohibit public schools from accepting funds or entering into contracts with the Chinese government, the Chinese Communist Party or individuals or entities with ties to either. The bill also would require schools to notify the U.S. Department of Education of any foreign funds or contracts they have.
