ANNUAL SURVIVORSHIP PICNIC: The Mercy Health Foundation and Mercy Health Oncology are hosting the annual Survivorship Picnic from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 2 at Eastwood Field, 111 Eastwood Mall Blvd., Niles.

Tickets include entry to the picnic, admittance to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers game that evening and a $5 credit toward concessions. Survivor and guest will enjoy a meal, games, prizes and a tribute to survivors.

LONG-TERM CARE: A Place For Mom helps people find a place for their parents when the parents need long-term care. A Place For Mom gives families both personal and professional help as they look for care options for their elderly loved ones. The service is free for families. PROGRAM FOR SENIORS: ACTION and MYCAP, along with Christ Centered Church, host Seniors Offering Services for men and women 65 and older. Three days a week, seniors participate in virtual programs of exercise, classes, games, community awareness, healthy cooking, chit-chat and humor, among other things. Once per week, lunch will be delivered.

JCC MEAL PROGRAM: The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown and Jewish Family and Community Services offers fully prepared, frozen meals to anyone in Mahoning and Trumbull counties for home delivery or pick-up. SSAG NEEDS VOLUNTEERS: The Senior Support Action Group, a nonprofit program that provides services to homebound seniors 55 and older in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, is seeking both clients and volunteers.

The program provides monthly food box deliveries, phone pals and transportation to medical appointments.
