Gathering Place is a free community outreach social program at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, and offered to all senior citizens on the second Monday of every month. A box lunch will be provided. No reservations are required.

Brittany Kennedy from Direction Home will be the guest speaker 11 a.m. Monday. Her topic will be “Opportunities for Volunteering.”

JCC MEAL PROGRAM: The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown and Jewish Family and Community Services offer fully prepared, frozen meals to anyone in Mahoning and Trumbull counties for home delivery or pick-up. The kosher-style meals are cooked by JCC staff and include an entree and two sides. The cost per meal is $6, with a five-meal minimum.

HUBBARD SENIORS: The Hubbard seniors are looking for more card players to join their group. The group meets 9:30 a.m. Thursdays at the community room at the back of city hall on West Liberty Street.

Lunch is available at a cost.

CAREGIVER PROGRAM: The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter has a new caregiver relief program called The Jan and Josephine Castora Family Caregiver Relief Program, which pays for agency caregivers to assist families needing help caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.

SENIOR WATCH PROGRAM: Liberty residents 60 and older may sign up for the Liberty Township Senior Watch Program. Contact Marcy Orlando, police secretary, at 330-759-1315, or Joy, fire secretary, at 330-759-0363, Ext. 102.

SENIOR VOLUNTEERS: The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of the Mahoning Valley is looking for volunteers. For information, contact Leah at 330-480-0352, Ext. 3.

RSVP is a national service program for individuals 55 and older who want to volunteer in Mahoning and Trumbull counties. These volunteers also will assist with community events.

PROGRAM FOR SENIORS: ACTION and MYCAP, along with Christ Centered Church, host Seniors Offering Services for men and women 65 and older. Three days a week, seniors participate in virtual programs of exercise, classes, games, community awareness, healthy cooking, chit-chat and humor, among other things. Once per week, lunch will be delivered.
