John and Erin Stanik of Minerva and Ernest and Jean Savopoulos of Warren are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Dr. Jessica J. Stanik and Dr. John W. Savopoulos. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Connie Stanik.

Dr. Stanik, a dentist, graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and pre-dental and from The Ohio State University Doctor of Dental Surgery program.

Also a graduate of The Ohio State University Doctor of Dental Surgery program, Dr. Savopoulos is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a master of science degree in biological sciences (genetics). He is employed as a dentist with Community Dental in Lisbon.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held May 16, 2026, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to be held at the Corinthian Banquet Hall in Sharon, Pa.
