Boardman High offers ‘Anastasia’ musical
The Boardman High School Drama Guild will stage “Anastasia: The Musical” 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday at Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave.
Based on the 1997 animated film, the musical features songs by Tony-winning composers Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens. The Boardman production features 38 performers and a 25-member band and uses digital technology to project backdrops for the different scenes.
