Hoyt seeks entries for juried art show

Arts + Education at the Hoyt is accepting entries for its 52nd Annual Hoyt Regional Juried Art Competition.

Both emergent and professional artists, within a 250-mile radius of the New Castle, Pa., museum are eligible to enter and nearly $1,300.00 in cash prizes will be awarded.

It is open to all media except video and installation.

The juror will be Henry Adams, Ruth Coulter Heede Professor of Art History at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

Adams is a graduate of Harvard College and received his master’s degree and doctorate from Yale. In addition to his work as an educator, Adams worked as a curator at the Cleveland Museum of Art and has received numerous awards.
