Rust Belt plans improv show Friday, Saturday

Rust Belt Theater Company will throw out the script for “Whose Drag Is It Anyway?”

The theater group known for staging original productions will do two nights of improv comedy mixed with songs from Rust Belt productions and drag performances.

According to Rust Belt founder Robert Dennick Joki, “We’ve had people asking us for years to start doing improv shows, so we are testing it out by combining it with the kind of comedy we are known for.”

Performers include Keith Stepanic, Charity Bauer, Diane Marie, Joey Shilot, PK Lankford, Wesley Miller, JoJo Garcia, Lisa Torrence and Haley Comet.

“Whose Drag Is It Anyway?” is at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Club Switch, 221 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. Admission is $10 at the door.

Starting at $2.99/week.
