Ticket stubs: Documentary about history of Braceville to screen at Robins

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for a screening of the documentary “History Forgotten and Now for All to See” at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Robins Theatre.

It focuses on the the story of Braceville, which was the largest rural African-American community in Ohio from 1920 to 1960, and focuses on some of the illustrious folks who came from there, including Negro Leauge baseball player Ted Toles Jr., award-winning author Brian Broome, boxers Earnie Shavers and Randy Stephens and pit master Guy Hughes, whose barbecue sauces are sold nationally.

Tickets are $10, and all seating is reserved.
