Youngstown Rotary brewing up 7th Groundhog Craft Beerfest

Several wineries will join the breweries at the Rotary Club of Youngstown 2025 Groundhog Craft Beerfest.

This is the seventh year for the fundraiser, which has raised more than $100,000 cumulatively for various causes.

Attendees will be able to sample beers wine and hard cider from a variety of local and regional makers.

The list of breweries and wineries currently scheduled to participate includes: Sundog Cellars, The Vineyards at Pine Lake, Birdfish Brewing Co., Noble Creature Cask House, 1547 Project, Bikers Brewhouse, Hartford Hills, Mastropietro Winery, Modern Methods Brewing Company, Paladin Brewing, Dope Brewing Co., Penguin City, Woodland Cellars, L’uva Bella / Brew Kettle, Aeonian Brewing Company, Garretts Mill Brewing Co., Missing Falls Brewery, Schnitz Ale Brewery, Maize Valley Brewing, Red Wagon / Four Paws, Thirsty Dog and Paradigm Shift.

Additional participants are expected. Food will be available for purchase from local vendors.

There are two sessions on Feb. 1 in the Jeanne D. Tyler Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The afternoon session runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and the evening session goes from 5 to 8 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Summit Radio in the afternoon and Larry Elefante in the evening.

General admission tickets are $50. Premium admission is $100 and includes unique beers only available in the premium area, charcuterie provided by Jimmy’s Italian Specialties and Kravitz Delicatessen and a souvenir tasting glass from Steelite International. Designated driver tickets are $25.
