“Celebrating Young Artists of the Mahoning Valley” will be the theme of the First Fridays event for March.

The event will showcase several area arts and entertainment groups. Millennial Theatre Company will perform at 430 p.m. Friday, followed by the improv comedy troupe Dinner Theatre Rejects at 5 p.m., MV Cabaret at 5:30 p.m., students from SMARTS Rock Band class at 6 p.m., Ballet Western Reserve at 6:30 p.m. and Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre at 7 p.m.

Many of the participating organizations will have information available about what they do. Refreshments will be provided by The Varsity Club, and a cash bar will be available.

First Fridays Youngstown for March is presented by the Downtown Youngstown Partnership and runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at SMARTS, 25 E. Boardman St., Youngstown. Admission is free. For more information, go to firstfridaysyoungstown.org.
