The fourth annual Kids Career Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield.

Coinciding with Career and Technical Schools Month in February, the fair was developed to showcase the career opportunities in the area that children might not know about.

The center, Valley STEM Academy and City Machine Technologies Inc. are presenting the event.

“This day is a great way to showcase the many careers, because it’s never too early to start talking about careers,” Claudia Kovach, vice president of City Machine Technologies, said.

John Zehentbauer, the center’s superintendent, said its graduating students have received multiple job offers.

“This is just another way to explore our school and learn about jobs that they can have right out of high school,” he said.

Participating businesses have been asked to provide a table activity for children and pass out promotional items. More information can be found at cmtcompanies.com/kids-career-fair.
