Strongsville business acquires Volpini Realty
Staff report
When Volpini Realty decided to sell its operation back in December to Strongsville-based Russell Real Estate Services, owner Marisa Volpini was attracted to its family-style of operations.
“We treat the people as our family,” Volpini said Thursday. “Russell has the same culture as I do.”
Serving the community for 38 years with its headquarters in Boardman, Volpini Realty has 25 real estate agents and four staff members. As part of the acquisition announced Wednesday, it has joined the Russell Real Estate Services staff of approximately 600 agents and 11 locations.
“They have many more resources that they can offer our agents,” Volpini said.
Founded by Newman “Russ” Russell, Russell Real Estate Services has been in business since 1962.
According to a news release, the acquisition expands Russell’s market presence and enhances its ability to meet the evolving needs of clients.
“This acquisition is a natural fit for both companies,” said Jeff Russell, broker / owner at Russell Real Estate Services. “We share a common commitment to providing the highest level of service to our clients.”
With the acquisition of Volpini Realty, Russell Real Estate Services looks to move beyond its northern Ohio base and into eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
Although she’s relinquishing the role of owner, Marisa Volpini said she will be part of the new venture.
“This way, I can still list and sell properties, which I enjoy,” she said.
