Honoring the best of the Mahoning Valley’s professional women, the 32nd annual ATHENA Award ceremony and dinner takes place May 15 at Waypoint 4180, Canfield.

Thirty-three nominees will vie for the honor.

Dr. Nicolette W. Powe received last year’s award. She is a public health scientist and associate professor in Youngstown State University’s Department of Graduate Studies in Health and Rehabilitation Services.

The Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber and The Vindicator are event co-sponsors.
