CHRISTMAS CONCERT: Tapestries of Ohio will host a free madrigal Christmas concert 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. The program will run about an hour, and a reception will follow the concert.

Tapestries of Ohio is a nonprofit, self-sustaining organization that provides educational and entertainment activities in the region. The group is an associate member of the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County.

COMMUNITY PARTY: Help Network Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, will host a community holiday party for center guests and members ages 18 and older noon to 3 p.m. Friday. Gifts and bags will be given on a first come, first served basis. The day will include games, prizes, refreshments and gift giveaways.

ST. JUDE EVENT: The St. Jude Women’s Guild will host the fourth annual Christmas on Seventh Street 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. There will be a petting zoo with reindeer, cookie walk, photos with Santa, children’s crafts and face painting.
