‘Napoleon Dynamite’ stars coming to Packard
A trio of actors from “Napoleon Dynamite” will share stories about the film at a screening Nov. 8 at Packard Music Hall.
Jon Heder, who plays the title character, will be joined by Efren Ramirez (Pedro) and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico) on the tour, which started last year for the film’s 20th anniversary.
Made for $400,000, the movie went on to gross $44.5 million in North America after its 2004 release. It was the feature debut for both director Jared Hess, who directed the current box office hit “A Minecraft Movie,” and Heder, whose film credits include “Just Like Heaven,” “Blades of Glory” and “The Benchwarmers.”
Following the screening of the movie, Heder, Ramirez and Gries will take part in a program described as a blend of Q&A, comedy improv, game show and party with plenty of audience participation.
Tickets range from $29.75 to $69.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Meet and greet packages also are available. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: TOTS.
