Warrant, FireHouse coming to Packard
A double bill of Warrant and FireHouse will play Sept. 5 at Packard Music Hall.
Thirty-five years ago, Warrant launched a track that turned into a hair metal sensation. “Cherry Pie” reached the Top 10 and was the title song of an album that sold more than 2 million copies.
Other rock radio hits include “Down Boys,” “Heaven,” “Sometimes She Cries” and “I Saw Red.”
Lead singer Jani Lane was a Northeast Ohio native, growing up in Brimfield. He died in 2011.
It’s also the 35th anniversary of FireHouse’s debut album, which was certified double platinum and included the hits “Love of a Lifetime,” “Don’t Treat Me Bad” and “All She Wrote.”
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $38 to $78 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.
