YCAR board officers, directors will serve another year
It has been an annual tradition for the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors to host a President’s Ball every January to honor and recognize past presidents and outgoing directors, and to install the incoming president and directors.
The year 2020 started with tradition, the President’s Ball and the installation of 2020 President Patrick Burgan of Burgan Real Estate and the officers and directors, and what a party it was.
We all know what events transpired as the year went on.
Realtors worked diligently with many new precautions and cleaning protocols in place to provide the same top-level professional service to homebuyers and sellers throughout the year. They kept their heads held high (fully masked) as they continued serving the communities and adjusted business practices seamlessly as the protocols changed almost daily.
In September 2020, the YCAR membership decided to vote for the 2020 officers and directors to repeat their terms for 2021, if they were able and willing. All the officers and directors accepted this nomination except three who were unable to serve another term. While we have started 2021 without the annual President’s Ball, I would like to honor our past presidents and leaders.
To our cherished past presidents, we honor you and thank you. You are important building blocks of the foundation of YCAR. You have helped the association grow and adapt over the years. You have continued to fight for private property rights and equal opportunities for Americans to achieve the dream of homeownership. You have led by example, upholding the high standards of professionalism in the real estate industry.
To our officers and directors, thank you for taking the charge to serve another year. We know the sacrifices you will make to extend your term, and we are forever grateful for your willingness to do so.
Continuing to serve as YCAR’s officers for 2021: President Patrick Burgan of Burgan Real Estate; President-elect Cindi Gefert of RE/MAX Valley Real Estate; Treasurer Dennis Gonatas of Real Living Volpini Realty; Immediate past president Jerri Florio of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stouffer Realty.
Continuing to serve on the 2021 Board of Directors are Kathy Carroll of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stouffer Realty; Sharon Drummond of RE/MAX Valley Real Estate; Breanna Fitzgerald of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services; Tibitha Matheney of Burgan Real Estate; Bernadette Melago of Keller Williams Chervenic Realty; Michael Stevens of Coldwell Banker EvenBay Real Estate; and Affiliate Director Erik Cromer with Homeside Financial.
Three new directors that were installed at the January Board of Directors meeting are: Samantha Aldish, Keller Williams Chervenic Realty; Teresa Berick, Century 21 Lakeside; and Lori Beulah, Real Living Volpini Realty. Welcome!
We also would like to extend sincere thanks to our outgoing directors: Debbie Barber, Altobelli Real Estate; Joseph Pavlick, RE/MAX Valley Real Estate; and John Potter, Mayo & Associates. Your service to the board is greatly appreciated.
