NILES — A 40-year-old security guard at the Eastwood Mall reported being “slapped or punched,” by a girl when a large fight broke out in the food court on Sunday afternoon.

Niles police received calls about the “large” fight just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday but it had broken up when they arrived, according to a police report.

A 13-year-old girl also reported being hit in the head during the fight but refused emergency care and was released to a grandmother.
