Biden is getting his ducks in a row
DEAR EDITOR:
I think we can agree the news gets surreal at times — to the point where the outlandish becomes normal.
But sometimes something appears in the news that defies logic. That’s the case with resurfacing Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Over a year ago, Democratic operatives said this laptop was not legitimate.
Now, after a year of silence, Hunter’s laptop is back in the news. The New York Times, The Washington Post and national media outlets suddenly changed course, saying, “By the way, the laptop is real.”
Let’s get our ducks in row. First duck says laptop is real and everybody is in agreement. Duck two says laptop is full of damaging accusations backed up with undeniable pictures that could cause problems for the Bidens, and that appear true. But duck three steps out and says, “Why now?”
Why is everyone now in agreement?!
Here is conjecture with what we know. The New York Times usually comes out first with breaking news, and the rest follow. So why is every media outlet throwing Hunter under the bus? These media outlets never put out something on their own. So why were they told to throw Hunter under the bus?
Maybe if he’s under the bus, he could be called into an investigation that may result in formal charges. This could be risky — unless they want him to be charged. Dad could pardon him while he is still in office.
Joe Biden’s approval rating is hitting an all-time low, and his cognitive thinking prowess is in constant decline. Maybe he’ll need a pardon, too. But a president can’t pardon himself. That said, if the laptop stories are true and all are admitting it, Biden might not be the best candidate for re-election, and obviously the Democratic Party knows this.
So after he pardons his son (what father wouldn’t?) and he resigns for health reasons, he then is no longer a president, and the vice president takes over who could pardon him.
It all works out. Biden leaves; Hunter is out of the picture; and we have a new president who takes over. Oh no, it’s Kamala who will be president! I think we need another scenario to get that third duck in a row.
