WHAT: Trustees meeting Nov. 12

PRESENT: William Colletta, Jason Tedrow and Rick Hernandez

Trustees:

• Promoted part-time officer George Stamos to full-time, effective Nov. 19.l Accepted interim police Chief and Captain William Greene’s retirement effective Dec. 1. and accepted the request to purchase his duty weapon.

• Approved appointing Sgt. Ron Reed as interim police chief.

• Heard from Colletta that there would be a reception for Greene at 1 p.m. today at the administration building.

• Heard from Colletta that a 2014 Ford SUV was placed in surplus and put up for sale at a minimum starting bid of $2,500. It has 140,000 miles and a seized motor.

• Approved installing two new streetlights — one at 3680 Overlook Drive and another at the corner of Pothour Wheeler and Bedford Roads.
