WHAT: Trumbull Career and Technical Center board meeting Thursday

The board:

* Approved the transfer of Cara Kerber from secretary of programs and academics to treasurer’s secretary, effective Jan. 1.

* Hired Olivia Koehersen as a paraprofessional on a one-year contract at $25,665 for the equine program effective Oct. 28.

* Accepted the retirement of Cindy Kregaer, 12-month office employee / treasurer’s secretary, effective Jan. 1 with 29 years of service.

* Approved Kelly Semple and Dan Stirling at $1,000 between them as club advisers for the Future Farmers of America program.

* Accepted a $12,000 donation from Primetals Technologies for supplies for a new industrial program.

* Announced an open house will be 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12. The board meeting that night was moved to 6 p.m.

* Set meetings for 7 p.m. the second Thursday of each month in the boardroom and organizational meeting 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9.
