Coheed, Mastodon coming to Youngstown amp
Coheed and Cambria and Mastodon team up for The Infinite Arc Tour, which comes to the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on June 1.
Coheed and Cambria’s next album, “The Father of Make Believe,” will be released in March. Six of the progressive rock band’s previous albums cracked the top 10 of Billboard’s album chart.
Mastodon celebrated the 25th anniversary of its “Crack the Skye” album with a deluxe box set reissue this year and also released a new single, “Floods of Triton,” in September.
Mastodon played the Covelli Centre in 2022 with Ghost and made multiple appearances in Youngstown early in its career playing at the Emissions of the Monolith festival at the Nyabinghi.
Periphery will open the 6:30 p.m. show. Tickets range from $39.50 to $99.50 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at the Covelli Centre’s Southwoods Health box office and through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password SUMMER.
