YOUNGSTOWN — Effective immediately, Connecticut Avenue between Dunlap and Moherman avenues on the city’s West Side will be closed due to hazardous road conditions caused by above-normal ice buildup.

Officials said as temperatures increase above 20 degrees Fahrenheit, the Youngstown Department of Public Works will identify the source and work to remove the ice.

Westbound traffic will be detoured along Dunlap Avenue to Mahoning Avenue.
