Phantom to provide fireworks for Trump

YOUNGSTOWN — A local company will help to support the celebration for President-Elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration this weekend.

In a joint news release issued Friday, Phantom Fireworks announced that it will join with TNT Fireworks of Alabama and Pyrotecnico Fireworks of Pennsylvania to donate “the largest fireworks show in American history,” which will be at a pre-inauguration event at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Saturday.

“Representing the peaceful transfer of power and the beginning of new leadership in our country, the Inauguration is one of the most symbolic and patriotic events in the United States,” the statement reads. “Given the long-standing connection between patriotism and fireworks, the companies involved believe it is only proper to celebrate the event with a fireworks show of epic proportions.”

Phantom, Pyrotecnico and TNT represent three of the largest fireworks distributors in the country.

Phantom Fireworks, with headquarters in Youngstown, operates retail stores across 15 states and serves as the primary July Fourth product supplier to various retail chains in all states.

The release states that TNT Fireworks has been one of the nation’s largest distributors of consumer fireworks and sparklers for over 100 years and serves 49 states, the United Kingdom, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Pyrotecnico is headquartered in New Castle, Pa., with offices across the country and provides fireworks displays, special effects, and drones for sports, music, public and private events.

“The companies are humbled by the fact that President-Elect Trump has entrusted them with the responsibility of providing this unique entertainment for his event,” the news release states. “There is a lot to look forward to over the next four years, including the United States’ Semiquincentennial on July 4, 2026. This date marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which shall be celebrated in grand fashion by all Americans from coast to coast.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
