Nineteen family-owned businesses will be honored 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 27 during the fourth annual Family-Owned Business Recognition Dinner at The Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road, Poland.

The Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber is presenting the event in partnership with Huntington, HBK, Roetzel & Andress, and JFS Wealth Advisors.

One of the selected honorees will be chosen from each of five categories as the recipient of a special award.

The 2025 finalists are:

• HBK Growth Story: P.I.&I. Motor Express Inc.; REM Electronics Supply Inc.; United Protective Technologies; and White House Fruit Farm.

• Roetzel & Andress Local to National Presence: JAC LIVE / JAC Management Group; Phantom Fireworks; Quality Switch Inc.; and Rick’s Ranchwear Inc.

The Family-Owned Business Program was designed to help family businesses with succession planning, including maximizing value, understanding tax implications and multiple other aspects during the transition of a company. The dinner highlights the successes and importance of family-owned businesses.

At this year’s dinner, participants will be introduced to the CEO Forum, a program designed to provide business leaders with a network of peers committed to scaling their businesses while helping other like-minded C-suite peers succeed.

A panel discussion about the CEO Forum and its importance to the business community will include former U.S. Congressman Steve Stivers, president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, where the program is housed, and Robert Shenton, executive director of the CEO Forum.
