WHAT: Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities meeting Monday.

PRESENT: Melissa Baker, Elizabeth Calderone, Mary Cunningham, Mauro DiVieste, Jodi Glaser, Kimberly Hynes and Larry Larson.

The board:

• Approved adding operations manager and communications specialist positions as the Fairhaven Foundation is expanding to serve the Columbiana and Mahoning Boards of Developmental Disabilities in addition to Trumbull County Board of DD. The two full-time positions will report to the director of community relations and resource development.

• Hired Alyssa Szolos as teacher and Melissa Ware as cook assistant.

• Accepted the retirement of Cynthia Murphy as custodian effective Jan. 31. She has been with the program since February 1997.

• Announced the Fairhaven Foundation will host an Abilities Rock Dance Party and Carnival March 8 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield.
