Weathersfield schools buy property
WEATHERSFIELD — The Weathersfield Board of Education has purchased 2.5 acres for $525,000.
School Superintendent Damon Dohar said the board approved the purchase from P&S Equities, which includes the 2.5 acres and also a 10,000-square-foot building on the site.
The land and building are located west of the football stadium and south of Mineral Ridge High School.
Dohar said school officials and the board are discussing ideas of what to use the property for with a decision expected in the spring.
