Woman robbed of wallet while unloading car

YOUNGSTOWN — A woman unloading dog and cat food out of her car just before 10 p.m. Monday on East Judson Avenue on the South Side was robbed at gunpoint of her wallet containing credit cards, ID and prescribed medication.

The woman reported that she was taking dog food and cat food in the house from her car in the driveway of her home and saw two men dressed in all black walking down the street and looking at her, according to a Youngstown police report.

She said she was at the rear driver’s door getting the dog and cat food when she felt a gun pressed up against her right side and a male voice saying “give me your wallet.” She turned and saw two men in ski masks and one holding a small handgun with silver on it pointed at her. She handed over the wallet. She said she saw the men run through the yards toward Midlothian Boulevard and tried to follow them, but she did not find them, she stated.

She returned home and called 911. She said the men were about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, and one of them was wearing a Nike hooded sweatshirt. They were in their late teens or early 20s, she said.

Starting at $2.99/week.
