YOUNGSTOWN – The sidewalk and West Federal Street eastbound between Vindicator Square and Hazel Street will be closed Monday to Friday and then May 19 to May 30 for WesBanco to install its signs on the former Home Savings and Loan Co.’s downtown tower.

The business needs to place a crane at the bank site, 275 W. Federal St., in order to install four signs.

With WesBanco Inc.’s acquisition of Premier Financial Corp., the former downtown bank building’s iconic tower will undergo its second major change in five years.

Scaffolding started being installed Tuesday.

The signage removal and replacement is supposed to start May 5 and finish May 10.
