Reward offered for the capture of 2 fugitives

Wanted for murder, evidence tampering; known to frequent Northeast Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that would lead to the capture of fugitives Vincent Marbley and Eddie Winphrie. Marbley and Winphrie are wanted by the Youngstown Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service for murder and tampering with evidence.

Marbley and Winphrie are alleged to have been involved in the Oct. 17 murder of Reynaldo Hernandez, 24, which occurred in the 2300 block of Bott Street on Youngstown’s East Side.

Marbley, 59, is described as a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches and weighing about 145 pounds. Winphrie, 41, is described as a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches and weighing about 262 pounds.

Marbley and Winphrie have been known to frequent the Cleveland, Youngstown, and Columbus areas.

During the trial of a co-defendant, Andre K. Bailey, 40, prosecutors said surveillance video in the Bott Street home showed Bailey with a gun, pointing it” inside the home.

The footage showed “brooms. They’ve got mops. They’re moving furniture. They’re rolling up rugs. They’re using bleach,” Assistant Mahoning County Prosecutor John Juhasz said of the men in the home. He was speaking during closing arguments in Bailey’s trial.
