Police activity reported July 12-21:

July 21 — Mutual aid was provided to the Ohio State Highway Patrol at its post, 500 S. Broad St.

July 17 — Angela Vance, 49, 103 Lincoln Park Drive, Youngstown, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on two charges of possession of drugs (methamphetamine and Clonazepam), possession of drug paraphernalia (cut straw with residue), and operating a vehicle while impaired.

July 16 — Luis Gonzalez Ramos, 28, 912 W. Woodland Ave., Youngstown, was arrested in the 7000 block of Herbert Road on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

July 12 — Mutual aid was provided to the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office for an intoxicated man in the lobby of the Hampton Inn, 6690 Ironwood Blvd.

Police activity reported June 30 to July 11:

July 11 — Theresa Bohr, 50, 451 S. Broad St., Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on South Broad Street on an operating a vehicle while impaired charge and was cited for a marked lanes violation and speeding (41 in a 25 zone).

July 9 — Mason Rusu, 19, 3398 White Beech Lane, Youngstown, and Nicholas Hawkins, 18, 3660 Farnham St., North Canton, were each issued summons during a traffic stop on East Main Street on drug abuse (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia (digital scale) charges.

July 8 — Lynasia Crockett, 23, 1114 Sunshine Ave., Youngstown, was arrested during a traffic stop on West Main Street on a Liberty arrest warrant and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension and a defective exhaust.

July 8 — Aaron Hart, 18, 11440 N. Palmyra Road, North Jackson, was issued a summons during a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard on underage alcohol possession and underage tobacco possession charges.

July 6 — John Hicks, 35, 625 W. Ridge Ave., Sharon, Pa., was arrested during a traffic stop on Wadsworth Street on a drug paraphernalia charge (red cut straw) and was cited for fictitious plates, a defective exhaust and no operator’s license.

July 6 — Tracy Rhouma, 53, 16799 state Route 45, Wellsville, was arrested during a traffic stop on Lisbon Street on an undisclosed Struthers warrant and was cited for an expired operator’s license.

July 5 — Ashley Miller, 34, 13098 Beaver Creek Road, Salem, was arrested during a traffic stop on North Broad Street on charges of possession of drugs (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia (cut straw with residue), driving while under suspension, and was cited for an unsafe vehicle, and Joshua Butler, 40, 308 New Garden Ave., Salem, was issued a summons on an open container charge (Fireball shots, Miller Lite and Arnold Palmer).

June 30 — Banjo Akande, 37, 4201 Logan Gate Road, Youngstown, was arrested in the first block of Skyline Drive on an assault charge and a patient abuse charge (putting a cigarette out on a patient’s arm).

Police activity reported June 25-30:

June 30 — Joseph Ross, 25, 180 Ohio Ave., Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired, endangering children and possession of drug paraphernalia (aluminum burnt pipe and plastic bag with white crystal-like residue), and was issued citations for driving under suspension and defective exhaust after a traffic stop.

June 27 — Elizabeth Gross-Grace, 25, 351 E. Ravenwood Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a possession of drugs (methamphetamine) charge and Eric Johnson Jr., 27, 455 Cataline Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons on a driving under suspension charge following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street.

June 25 — A 17-year-old Canfield boy was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

June 24 — Dustie White, 32, 7716 Depot Road, Lisbon, was issued a summons on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge (cut pen with residue) and was cited for driving while under suspension, and Robert Cochran, 35, 2453 Woodsdale Drive, Salem, was issued a summons on an open container charge, following a traffic stop on Herbert Road.

June 25 — A skunk was dispatched in the first block of Scott Street following a call regarding a sick animal.
