Police activity reported Oct. 16-31:
Oct. 31, 10 p.m. — Fight reported at 418 E. Prospect St., where police found two people involved in a verbal domestic.
9:44 p.m. — Prowler reported at 704 N. Ward Ave. after the homeowner came home and saw someone on the property. A person got into a vehicle and fled the scene.
8:05 p.m. — Harassment reported at 527 N. Ward Ave. after a resident complained that someone parked an SUV on the sidewalk, preventing people from walking.
3 p.m. — Animal complaint reported at 596 Stull Ave. after a resident saw man throw a small dog out of a moving vehicle
1:55 p.m. — Call for assistance made in the 1700 block of Oak Street, where a man was dealing with issues and hallucinating.
1:46 p.m. — Drug activity reported at 1642 Greenwood Ave. after a resident found a bowl with a substance, possibly drugs, in it on the front porch.
Oct. 30, 10:48 p.m. — Investigation conducted at 527 N. Ward Ave. after a resident reported a neighbor has come onto his property and made lewd gestures and was harassing him and provoking his dogs.
4:55 p.m. — Investigation conducted at 102 E. Main St. after residents reported a young child was hanging out a third-floor window of a house and throwing items in a yard.
3:51 p.m. — Investigation conducted at 100 N. Market St. after women reported being harassed by another woman in a vehicle being driven by the house numerous times. The woman told police the woman in vehicle tried to run her son off the road
1:48 p.m. — Theft of a dog reported at 100 N. Market St. after a relative took the property owner’s dog.
Oct. 29, 6:17 p.m. — Theft of package containing two phones reported missing at 596 Stull Ave.
5:20 p.m. — Driver of vehicle traveling over the viaduct reported a flag and pole on the side of the street fell on her car, causing damage
Oct. 25, 6:55 p.m. — Customer at Dollar General on Churchill Road reported her purse with cash and credit cards was stolen.
Oct. 24, 12:28 a.m. — Police arrested Paul Flesch on Belmont Avenue on an outstanding warrant from Struthers police.
Oct. 23, 10:27 p.m. — Overdose reported at 205 S. Elruth Ave. The man was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
7:10 p.m. — Fight reported at 117 Townsend Ave. after a woman reported a man was throwing children against a wall and hitting them.
4:57 p.m. — Fight reported at 45 Townsend Ave. after a physical argument among several people, including a person on a skateboard.
Oct. 22, 6:54 p.m. — Telephone harassment reported at 555 E. Broadway Ave. after the resident received numerous text messages from an unknown number.
Oct. 21, 8:02 a.m. — Fight reported at 711 E. Kline St. after the juvenile refused to go to school and was waving a knife at a family member and a dog. The juvenile was taken to Akron Children’s in Boardman.
Oct. 20, 1:40 a.m. — Investigation conducted at Carlton and West Liberty streets after a vehicle with two juveniles was found parked on a road near the entrance to the railroad property. The juveniles were given a warning for trespassing and curfew violation.
Oct. 19, 1:03 p.m. — Threats reported at 605 Trumbull Ave. after a man reported receiving threats from someone who wanted to stab him with a knife.
Oct. 18, 1:40 p.m. — Drug activity reported at 100 N. Market St.
Oct. 16, 3:03 p.m. — Harassment reported at 511 North Ave. after a woman reported being harassed by leaders of the tenants association.
