Canfield

Police activity reported Feb. 18-23:

Feb. 23 — Richard Eicher, 53, 115 Willowbend Drive, Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on a warrant for two counts of possession of drugs (cocaine and fentanyl).

Feb. 20 — Stephen Hamner Jr., 18, 686 Park Ave., East Palestine, was arrested on charges of illegal conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon in a school safety zone and aggravated menacing after police said he threatened a student with a knife at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Feb. 18 — Natasha Nally, 37, 1210 McColloch St., Wheeling, W.Va., was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on Manor Hill Drive.

Boardman

Police activity reported Feb. 26:

Feb. 26, 2:11 a.m. — Cynthia A. Matsouris, 62, 30 E. Fairlawn Ave., Youngstown, was arrested during a traffic stop on Market Street on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, on two Youngstown warrants for failure to comply, and was cited for failure to signal and driving while under suspension.

1 a.m. — Teresa Eckenrode, 61, 3891 Dunbar St., Austintown, was arrested during a traffic stop on Western Reserve Road on charges of drug abuse (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for no operator’s license and a turn signal violation.
