David L. Noble 1936-2020
AUSTINTOWN — David Lawrence Noble, 84, passed away Sunday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2020, at his home.
David was born Dec. 7, 1936, in Youngstown, the son of William and Marjorie Williams Noble.
He was a graduate of North High School class of 1954 and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors Lordstown Plant, where he had been a coordinator and foreman and was a member of the UAW.
David enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and playing poker with his friends. He had a great sense of humor and always had a twinkle in his eye. He loved spending time with his family and playing with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
David leaves his wife, the former Patricia Vavrinak, whom he married June 25, 1960; three children, Dean (Cindy) Noble of Cortland, Heidi Jones of Austintown and Bradley (Joy) Noble of Poland; 11 grandchildren, Tahnee (Craig) Sabel, Brittani Jones, Ethan Jones, Sarah Noble, Lauren (Tony) Tousignant, Madeine Hahn, Brandon Koffel, Matthew Koffel, Joshua Noble, Benjamin (Gianna) Noble and Kathryne (James Webster) Noble; as well 10 great-grandchildren. David also leaves one brother, Paul (Valerie) Noble of New Middletown; and one sister-in-law, Valda Noble of Coitsville.
Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Douglas Jones; and a brother, Ronald Noble.
Private services were held.
