Joseph Hodge Jr. 1951-2021

Joseph was born Jan. 9, 1951, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Juanita Smith Hodge Sr.

Joe was employed with the Western Reserve Transit Authority as a bus mechanic until 1987, then as part owner of J&T Auto until 2015.

Mr. Hodge enjoyed going fishing, playing pool, restoring his classic Buick cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Kevin (Fayth) Hodge, Elliot (Karla) Hodge, Joy D. Hodge, Tiffany L. Hodge and Stephanie (Jovonna) Solomon; his siblings, Renaldo Hodge and Sharon Tutwiler; his life partner of 37 years, Karen Patton; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two nieces; a nephew; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter, A’nana Brantley.

The homegoing celebration in honor of Mr. Joseph Hodge Jr. will be announced at a later date.
