Charles R. Foster 1930-2022

PETERSBURG — Charles R. Foster, 92, died Monday, June 27, 2022, at his home in Petersburg.

Charles was born in East Palestine on April 20, 1930, son of the late Robert and Gladys Coblsntz Foster. He was a farmer his entire life.

Charles is survived by his children, Cindy (Fred) Mayorga of Canfield, Linda Titler of Smithville, Charlie (Kathy) Foster of Petersburg, Curtis (Bonnie) Foster, David (Melissa) Foster of New Middletown, and Pat Taylor of Youngstown; a brother, Loren Foster of Malvern; two sisters, Rosetta Haffey and Ina Gallaher; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Main Foster, whom he married Aug. 19, 1950. She died on Oct. 25, 2016.

A private service and burial were held in Petersburg Cemetery, due to COVID-19.

Arrangements were by Terry Cunningham Funeral Home in Bessemer, Pa.
