Gerold ‘Jerry’ Wix 1949-2023
AUSTINTOWN — Gerold W. “Jerry” Wix, 74, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, Dec. 24, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Jerry, also known as “Sugar Bear,” was born Dec. 10, 1949, in Fairmont, W.Va., a son of the late Kenneth Lee and Ellen Mae Boyce Wix. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
