Marjean Nicolli 1946-2024

CANFIELD — Marjean Nicolli, 77, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, at her home, with her loving husband and family by her side.

Marjean was born Feb. 27, 1946, in Youngstown, and raised in Struthers. A 1964 graduate of Struthers High School, she retired from Utility Contracting. As a Christian woman, she attended weekly services at Grace Fellowship Church.

She enjoyed dancing and loved the music and artists from her generation, in addition to Italian classics. She loved to cook for her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she always loved to decorate. In her leisure time, she would go to local Italian fests with her husband Joe of 27-plus years. They would go for many car rides and feed the deer by Mill Creek Park with their two dogs, Chiquito and Spudsy. Sometimes, she would be even lucky enough that the deer would walk up to the car window for a snack. She looked forward to weekly dinner dates with her husband, family gatherings and having constant company at the house.

Visitors would have to be patient, as she would ask them if they were hungry and if they wanted coffee, pop, dessert, leftovers, etc., Always wanting to make sure everyone had a full belly. “No we’re fine, don’t go through the trouble” was an exercise in futility while she proceeded to put things out on the table one at a time.

Marjean is survived and will be forever missed by her husband, Joseph Nicolli, whom she married Oct. 4, 1997; two sons, Robert Tiratto (Marriane) of Boardman and Benjamin Tiratto of Canfield; two stepdaughters, whom she loved very much, Lisa Patrone (Jeffrey) of Youngstown and Jennifer Nicolli of Canfield; five grandchildren, Samantha, Mathias, Joseph, Christian and Troy; three sisters, JoAnn Hudach and Sheryl Hudach of Poland, and Patricia Davila (Ralph); five brothers, David Hudach (Suzie) of Streetsboro, Patrick Kelly (Patricia), Mike Kelly (Nancy), Timothy Kelly and Terry Kelly (Laurie); and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Marguerite Hudach; in-laws, Joseph and Laverne Nicolli; a sister-in-law Nancy; and her beloved dog, Lulu.
