Michael J. Colick 1954-2024

He was born on Aug. 25, 1954, in Youngstown, to the late John A. Colick Sr. and Carmena L. Bartolone Colick.

Michael was a graduate of Struthers High School and ATES Technical School in Niles.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, taking care of his fruit trees and hanging out at Crickets. In his early years, he loved taking trips on his motorcycle.

Michael is survived by his brother, Nicholas Colick; niece, Kim (Les) Dundics; nephews, Jason (Erica) Colick, Adam Colick, Paul (Carol) Kovach III, Richard Kovach, John (Karen) Colick III and George Stephens; brother-in-law, Paul (Rose) Kovach Sr.; and a host of cousins, great-nieces and -nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Roseann Colick Kovach; brother, John “Butchie” Colick Jr.; and sister-in-law, Ruthann Colick.

Visitation will be 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St., New Castle, PA 16101

A Blessing Service will follow at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Deacon John Carran will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Bessemer, Pa.
