Lori Anne Taylor 1970-2024

ELYRIA — Lori Anne Taylor, 53, formerly of Boardman, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lori will always be remembered for the love she showed to everyone, her generosity and her devotion to being a dedicated hard-working employee.
She was born March 21, 1970, in Youngstown, the daughter of Arthur W. and Esther I. Walker Taylor.
Lori was a 1988 graduate of Boardman High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Youngstown State University.
Lori began her career with Dunham’s Sporting Goods in 1988, which spanned over 35 years. She worked her way through many positions until becoming a manager in 1996. Throughout her career, she worked at 10 different store locations and then for the last 18 years was the manager in Elyria.
Lori had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her significant other, Frank. Together they enjoyed cooking, traveling to the lake and Amish country, golfing and watching her favorite TV shows. Lori was an avid sports fan ever since she played basketball and softball in high school, and loved rooting for her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Lori leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories, her sister, Shari (Paul) Ruppel of Moon Township, Pa.; two nephews, Brian and Neil Ruppel; and her partner of many years, Frank Owens of Elyria; along with cousins and friends.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may pay their respects to Lori 10 to 10:55 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m., all at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, with Pastor Richard Kidd as officiant.
Burial will take place in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
